Hillside Municipal Cemetery, Medicine Hat The Hillside Cemetery is located on Highway 3 and 10 Avenue S.W., two blocks west of the Trans Canada Highway in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Over 1600 trees of varying species make the cemetery appear to be a well-arranged forest from both the air and roadway. The site that Hillside Cemetery occupies has been in existence since 1886 and has been a municipal operation since 1909. It comprises 80 acres of sloping and level land of which 57 acres are in active use. There are currently over 28,000 burials.

Lethbridge Municipal Cemeteries The cemeteries in Lethbridge are some of the best kept in the province. Though the City started none of its cemeteries, it has slowly come into stewardship of all of the cemeteries located within the City limits.
Columbarium in Taber Memorial Gardens
Taber Memorial Gardens Taber Memorial Gardens are situated on the west side of 50th Street approximately 1 mile north of 64th Avenue in Taber, Alberta. The Cemetery is comprised of 20 acres of level ground, has 7 acres in active use and embraces approximately 5000 burials. Though it may not have been official, the residents of the area were using the current site of Taber Memorial Gardens for burials as early as 1904 and the area remains in active use today.
Taber Memorial Gardens, owned, maintained and administered by the Town of Taber offers a variety of burial options. Non-denominational and inclusive by design the cemetery has special areas including two Field of Honor sections and in partnership with Southland Funeral Chapel, a Columbarium. All gravesites designated as full in-ground burial sites but burial of cremated remains occur as well.
The Town of Taber Parks and Recreation Department maintain the cemetery with pride and strive to ensure the perpetual dignity of the final resting place for those buried there.
