Notes: Options do not include cemetery charges. i.e. Purchase of the plot, opening and closing of the grave or cremation urns.

Transportation of remains under all Memorial Society Plans will be provided to Lethbridge cemeteries or crematorium.

You are also eligible to lock in the costs at today's prices by prepaying any of these plans with Cornerstone Funeral Chapel. Please phone for an appointment.

Option A1 $1595 plus cremation plus GST
  • Transfer of deceased from place of death within Lethbridge city limits.  (Monday to Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.)
  • Preparation of documents to obtain permits for burial or cremation.
  • A (#2) grey cloth covered, flat top casket with white satin interior for burial.
  • Suitable container when cremation is selected.
  • Use of chapel for funeral service or equipment and staff required for service at a church.
  • Ushers for funeral service.
  • Taped music for funeral service.
  • Basic stationery package (memorial book & 100 black and white service folders).
  • Funeral coach to Lethbridge cemetery.
  • Two (2) copies of Funeral Director's Statement of Death
  • Memorial Society Administration fee extra cost  - $25.

Option A2 $1795 plus cremation plus GST

Same as Plan A1 but sustituting:

  • A (#3) grey cloth covered, raised top casket with white satin interior for burial.

Option A3 $2995 includes cremation plus GST
  • Transfer of deceased from place of death within  Lethbridge city limits.
  • Preparation of documents to obtain permits for burial or cremation.
  • Viewing with embalming, dressing, cosmetology, casketing, hairdressing & use of visitation room. (Monday to Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.)
  • The use of an antique oak casket.
  • Cremation container.

 
  • Use of chapel for funeral service or staff and equipment at a church service.
  • Ushers for funeral service.
  • Taped music for funeral service.
  • Basic stationery package (memorial book & 100 black and white service folders).
  • Two (2) copies of Funeral Director's Statement of Death
  • Preparation and delivery of obituary
  • Memorial Society Administration fee extra cost - $25.

Option B1 $1095 plus GST
  • Transfer of deceased from place of death within Lethbridge city limits. (Monday to Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.)
  • Preparation of documents to obtain permits for burial or cremation.
  • Cremation fee or casket as in Plan A1 if burial.
  • Cremation container.
  • Two (2) copies of Funeral Director's Statement of Death
  • Preparation and delivery of obituary
  • Memorial Society Administration fee extra cost. - $25.

Option B2 $1395 plus GST

Same as Plan B1 also including:

  • Use of chapel for funeral service or equipment and staff required for service at a church.
  • Ushers for funeral service.
  • Taped music for funeral service.
  • No stationery package
  • No funeral coach

Option C

Any deviations from plans A1, A2, A3, B1, or B2 (other than the listed additional costs above) will void those plans.  Members will then be entitled to a 10% discount on casket, urn and professional service fees.
