Transportation of remains under  Memorial Society Plans will be provided to Taber Memorial Gardens
Transportation for cremation is extra cost.

You are also eligible to lock in the costs at today's prices by prepaying any of these plans with Southland Funeral Chapel. Phone for an appointment.

Option A1 $1780 plus cremation plus GST
  • Transfer of deceased from place of death within 40 km of the Taber town limits.
  • Preparation of documents to obtain permits for burial or cremation.
  • Grey cloth covered, flat top casket with white satin interior for burial.
  • Suitable container when cremation is selected.
  • Use of chapel for funeral service or equipment required for service at a church.
  • Ushers for funeral service.
  • Equipment to play recorded music at funeral service 
  • Basic stationery package (memorial book & service folders).
  • Funeral coach to Taber Meorial Gardens
  • Two (2) copies of Funeral Director's Statement of Death
  • Cremation extra cost option.
  • Memorial Society Administration fee extra cost - $25.

Option A2 $1929 plus cremation plus GST

Same as Plan A1 but substituting:

  • A grey cloth covered, raised top casket with white satin interior for burial.

Option A3 $3568 plus cremation plus GST
  • Transfer of deceased from place of death within  40 km of the Taber town limits.
  • Preparation of documents to obtain permits for burial or cremation.
  • Embalming, dressing, cosmetology, casketing, hairdressing and use of visitaion room for viewing day of funeral service
  • Use of an oak rental casket
  • Six sided cremation container

 
  • Use of chapel for funeral service or equipment required service at church.
  • Ushers for funeral service.
  • Equipment to play recorded music at funeral service
  • Two (2) copies of Funeral Director's Statement of Death 
  • Memorial Society Administration fee extra cost - $25.

Option B1  $1333 plus cremation plus GST
  • Transfer of deceased from place of death within 40 km of the Taber town limits.
  • Preparation of documents to obtain permit for cremation.
  • Cremation fee or casket as in Plan A1 if burial.
    Cremation container.
  • Memorial Society Administration fee extra cost - $25.

Option B2  $1631 plus cremation plus GST

Same as Plan B1 also including:

  • Use of chapel for funeral service or equipment and staff required for service at a church.
  • Ushers for funeral service.
  • Taped music for funer al service.

Option C

Any member of the Calgary Co-operative Memorial Society who selects a funeral service other than those listed would be entitled to a 10% discount on the casket, urn and professional service fees.
