The CMS contracts with primarily locally-owned and operated funeral service providers across Alberta to provide funeral plans priced for CMS members. While we are not in every community, many of our funeral partners will provide services to those areas with additional fees to cover travel costs.
Plan prices differ amongst funeral partners due to inclusions, economies of scale and other factors. If price is a big factor to you, it may be worthwhile comparing plans, services and fees, before selecting a funeral home.
A summary of the current contract appears in the last column for each location. We have made every effort to ensure the accuracy of the summary; however, in case of discrepancy between this summary and the terms of the contract, the contract takes precedence.
